My work in corporate America taught me that customers deserve and appreciate consistency and quality at a fair price. In order to produce top-quality prints and other media that will exceed your expectations, I follow a six-point quality control process:
- I carefully process the source media digitally for superior density, color-fidelity and grain-control
- I do not ship prints with mechanical defects, such as dog-eared corners
- Prints are checked for smoothness of the surface of the print, so no waviness or scratches exist
- I use natural light to check the color match of each print
- Each print is signed and dated
- I use FedEx, which I have found to be the most consistent, careful carrier
- I insure each shipment
Here as well are my policies. Simple statements of fact.
- I do not tolerate spam, now officially known to the US government as UCE. I suspect you feel similarly. I will not sell, rent, barter or in any other way disclose to anyone your e-mail address or other personal information you supply. I will not contact you except in response to a request or order you placed. In those cases, my correspondence will be strictly status-oriented.
- I ship promptly and, in case of any delay, will make reasonable attempts to contact you using any and all means you provided me.
- My photos are not fabrications. What you see is what I saw. In around 5% of my shots I digitally excise tiny imperfections such as a blurred, distant bird. For one image I physically removed an unsightly cinder block from the scene before I exposed the film. I believe this attention to detail will increase your enjoyment of my work, and not only remains faithful to my intent in taking the shot, but doesn't abuse your trust that the image and the experience are genuine.
